1. As a company focused on sustainability, what are you doing to offset carbon emissions?

We partner with a company that offers carbon offsets which are certified by independent third parties. Currently, the project we are funding is the Amazon Rainforest Protection initiative as deforestation is a leading contributor to climate change. Additionally, we automatically offset the carbon emissions of our packaging.

Our partner, EcoCart, has spent an enormous amount of time researching and working with Climatology PhDs to compile the GHG emissions per product type, which are used to determine the necessary offset. The use the Higg Materials Sustainability Index and industry-specific life-cycle assessments as a starting point, then layer in specific nuances (e.g., the shipping weight that we provide to them) to further refine the database and determine our necessary offset. 

2. Is your packaging recyclable?

Yes, our packaging is completely compostable and recyclable. Additionally, it is made from recycled material and printed with earth-friendly inks.

3. What's your return policy?

    Instead of returning items, you can contact us for a full refund. Why? Returns run counter to our emphasis on sustainability: every return has a carbon footprint. So just tell us what went wrong, send along a pic, and we’ll give you your money back in full. Then, if possible, you can donate your product to a local animal shelter or recycle it.

    4. How long are shipping times?

      Your products will ship within two days of your order, and then take up to one week to reach your doorstep. All products are made and shipped from the U.S.; however, we try to use shipping methods with the least environmental impact. We include tracking information on all orders.

      5. Can I cancel my order?

        Cancelations are possible if we receive your cancelation request prior to shipment. Sometimes orders get sent out before we can process the cancelation. So if you cancel your order but still receive the package, then please go ahead and do one of three things: recycle it, donate it, or enjoy it.

        6. What happens if I receive the wrong item?

          If there’s an issue with your order -- if it’s the wrong size, wrong color, defective, or otherwise not exactly what you wanted -- then simply notify us, and we’ll give you a refund. You won’t be asked to ship the product back to us.

          7. Do you offer exchanges?

            We do not offer exchanges. However, if for any reason you didn’t get the exact product you expected, just let us know and we’ll get you a new one.
